This book began with a conversation between friends who discussed the effects of botanical remedies based on knowledge passed down by word of mouth which they had proved through experience. There is nothing of which doctor approach, just a real interest in practical husbandry. During the writing of this book it was obvious that there was a wealth of knowledge gathered by past experts, recorded in their books. In some times instances this knowledge gathered relates, even now, to the living world. Modern science has not been ignored and at times the dependence on almost forgotten details is important. The book is an on-going series of personal recollections and established facts which might create a responsive interest. |
